Helemano Plantation is a unique community of people caring
for people… A Place where you can truly take a piece of
Aloha with you. Once a dream, Helemano Plantation, founded by
Susanna F. Cheung, provides a "real world" work environment
for the developmentally disabled. Helemano Plantation offers
training and employment opportunities in its work centers. It
has a Country Inn Restaurant, Gift Shop,
Bake Shop and Farm. The ten-acre community complex includes
a training center, retail facilities and a nine-unit residential
program, Helemano Village.
Helemano Plantation has been the recipient of several awards,
including the prestigious National Community Service and Development
Award of Excellence.
